How to Show or Hide Desktop Icons in Windows 8

To Hide or Display all desktop icons, right-click on the desktop, point to “View,” and click “Show Desktop Icons." AND TO  UNHIDE THE ICONS is just the vise-versa.

        And it also this solution works on Windows 7,10,11, and even XP if that is your current OS for personal reasons. This option toggles desktop icons on and off.
